DELIVERY INFORMATION Where do we deliver to? Our web site accepts orders for delivery to the United Kingdom mainland only. Deliveries to all offshore locations are by quotation depending on what products are on your order. Please call 01663 749049 for more information. How much does it cost? Green Zone - FREE of charge. Have it on us! Amber Zone - £15 Delivery Charge Red Zone - £45 Delivery Charge Please scroll down to the bottom of the map on the right to see a full postcode list for each delivery zone. How do we deliver? We use a combination of our own vehicles and third party delivery companies to make your delivery. The delivery method chosen by us will be dependent on several factors; the two main ones being your geographical location and the items that you have ordered. All orders are delivered on a weekday by prior arrangement. If your order is delivered on one of our own vehicles then we will give you a date and also a delivery time window so you don't have to wait in all day. Smaller items and next day delivery items may be delivered by parcel carrier. For items delivered by parcel carrier we cannot give a time estimate. If you need a specific day please ask as it is possible to arrange a weekday of your choice. By default next day / parcel delivery items are shipped out as soon as possible and not booked in. If your are not home when the company arrive, they will leave a card and you can call the number on there to re-arrange another day locally. How long does it take? Delivery time varies depending on the products chosen. Lead times are clearly marked on the product pages in red bold text. Items marked as next day or 1 to 2 days delivery are shipped the same day for all orders received by 12noon on any working weekday. For products not marked with any lead time, please allow approximately 2 weeks in our free green zone delivery area. Amber and Red zones may take a few days or so longer. Certain products which are manufactured to order may be on slightly longer lead times. All products to which longer lead times apply are clearly marked in red bold text in the product information section on each product page. Can we deliver at weekends? We do not deliver using our own vehicles at weekends. Certain products that are suitable for delivery by a parcel courier may be available for Saturday morning delivery for a £30 fee. This fee is in addition to any other standard delivery fees that may apply depending on the size of your order and your postcode. Please call 01663 749049 for more details. Do I have to signed goods as 'Unchecked' on delivery? No, definitely not. Regardless of whether we deliver or if a carrier delivers on our behalf, please be assured that any paperwork signed by you is NOT your acceptance of furniture received in good condition. It simply acknowledges your receipt of the delivery. In the event of any problem, we shall deal with the issue regardless of you having signed paperwork. Obviously if goods are clearly damaged then sign the for the delivery as such. When you buy from us, you are assured that you are buying from a reputable family run business that actually cares about its customers' shopping experience! A Final Word of Caution! Many Internet furniture retailers try to use the ' Goods signed for in good condition' small print to absolve responsibility, which is actually in contravention of the sale of goods act and European distance selling legislation. Always check who you are buying from and if they have this clause in their T&C's and (or) their delivery information then avoid! |
